Hi, I’m Nicole—a Usui Reiki Master with a lifelong passion for healing and holistic care. My journey began in 1991 in the veterinary field, where I worked my way from receptionist to technician and finally to practice manager. During those years, I witnessed the profound connection between animals and their caregivers and learned the importance of compassionate, integrative support.
In 2003, I moved to Scotland after marrying my husband and spent over five years immersed in a culture rich with natural healing traditions. Living abroad deepened my appreciation for alternative medicine and opened my eyes to the many ways energy and nature can support wellness.
After returning to the U.S. in 2008, I transitioned into retail management, but my heart remained rooted in healing. In 2017, that calling led me to change my career path to a company that more aligned with my beliefs. I started working for a leading herbal products company where I was given an incredible opportunity to study herbalism through David Winston’s renowned two-year program. There I gained a deeper understanding of plant-based medicine and energetic balance.
My herbalist training took me in an exciting direction beyond clinical practice. Today, I continue my journey with the same herbal products company where I began in 2017, now serving as the National Sales Manager. In this role, I have the privilege of sharing expertly crafted herbal formulas and the company’s mission with clients and practitioners across the country. I travel to trade shows, meet with customers, and educate others about the benefits of traditional herbal supplements and integrative wellness. This role allows me to combine my passion for education, holistic health, and community outreach, helping people discover the transformative power of herbs in their own lives. As my career has evolved, I’ve continued to seek new ways to support others on their healing journey.
As part of my commitment to professional growth and community, I am an active member of the American Herbalist Guild, the International Natural Healers Association, Herbalists Without Borders, and the Natural Healer Society. These affiliations allow me to stay connected with fellow practitioners, contribute to ongoing education, and support global efforts in holistic health and healing.
I earned my Usui Reiki Master Certification under Melissa Crowhurst, and most recently trained with Usui Reiki Grandmaster Ali Mete Gordi. Reiki has become the perfect bridge between my love for animals, my experience in holistic care, and my desire to help others find peace, clarity, and healing. Through Reiki, I offer gentle, energetic support that complement my background in herbalism and integrative wellness.
Today, I offer in-home Reiki sessions for both humans and animals—creating safe, nurturing spaces where energy can flow freely and healing can begin.
